Sheep

I watched the video and in the video it shows heaps and heaps of sheep and 4 or 5 sheepdogs getting the sheeps in their cage thing or something like that. There were like 100 or more sheep in the farm and they were going like slow and fast. the sheep looks like when there moving looks like a big wave that's slowly moving towards the farm gate.

babe the pig

i think the movie is about the pig and the pigs name is babe and hes living in the farm with all the other animals .Babe is also a female and what i actually noticed in the video clip was babe known as the pig lives without his mom and she lives with fly the sheepdog. what we know so far is fly is a sheepdog and has 4 children of her own and babe is a pig and theirs heaps of other different animals.

i think the animals feel about seeing babe is probably happy because they want another member to join the farm. babes feelings are like probably like he feels happy and a little sad because he left his mom to work here and happy because he feels like hes family to the new farm hes living in and working in.

In reading my group was reading babe the sheep pig. Next we had to read the book up to chapter 3 and pretty much blog about what we know and who we have met so far. The characters in the story are able the pig, fly and sheep dogs and mr and Mrs. Hogget.

Trip to Orana park

on Monday we were going on a trip. the first thing we did was oh well on the first period we had to meet in the learning commens and we got to eat. after all that we went in groups and we got given our name and a number on it to see what group your in. the groups were group 1 and group 2 and my class and tz went walking to the bus and it took half an hour until we got there. when my class and tz arrived we had to walk out and walk through and this lady told us some warnings when we go through the orana park. we had to go in our groups and i was group 1 and we saw lots of animals like giraffes and gorrialas and other kinds of animals. we learnt not to stare at the gorilla right in the eye because it will make them mad because they will think you want to fight them. The lady also told us when we saw this other animal don't hang on the glass wall otherwise it will hurt or kill us something like that. We also got to feed the giraffes and it was fun and the zoo keeper that showed us around was Bethany and elizabeth. When we were finish bn and TZ went to the bus and drove off to school.

What is scratch ? Scracth is a website https://scratch.mit.edu/ you can create all kinds of things like stories and games and animations.

What app do you prefer to use ? I prefer to use scratch because it is very easy and easier to do and it's like basic work

How can you use that app to solve your problem ? By solving the problem you can solve problems on scratch with other games and animations and stuff

CIP

1. Hornby High School is collecting your stationary

Today we had assembly and all 7 and 8's came. We also had a visitor joining us and her name was Ella West and she published books and wrote books and she wrote a couple of books and she told us about her books and all about them. she did the Italian book, night vision and the last one she showed us was rain fall and a couple more books she had. rain fall was about like murder but it wasn't scary but Ella West talks about the rain fall book and what it is about and it was about like murder there was a girl and someone murdered her. night vision is about a girl and she walks around in her house and she cant see not evan a little light so the other person gives her some glasses night vision glasses so she can see clearly in the dark . the other book is Italian and its about Italian

All blacks

We well on Wednesday last week we made avideo for the all blacks. We could either make a
poster or  a letter or make a video to support them and to say good luck for the rugby World Cup. Everyone mostly did a video with a rugby ball well choose  to anyway. So everyone did something  in the video I said a line. After a couple of weeks a video came from Anton Lienert  Brown. The teachers felt really excited and miss Shehata  was really excited and said oh we got a video from Anton Lienert Brown.

chapter 2


What is conflict?

Conflict means like you might not like each other or something or you just don't like them.

The farmers did not like mr fox because well the farmers thing hes stealing the food from them or something like that. So they came up with an idea to catch the blighter. So they well one of them said theirs a hole under mr fox'es house.

Pe Hurumanu

Today in pe hurumanu we had to get dressed in our pe clothing. Well even though I didn't have my pe I still did pe and for pe we did a beep test. We had to do a beep test and a beep test is when we have to run from coune to coune and line to line. We also had to run until we were out and it was very hard because I couldn't catch up and I was struggling and I was a little bit slow. So I wasn't fast enough and my beep test result was not much but the result was 3.6. So we did 20 or 30 minutes of the beep test but everyone did it. It was defiantly not fun because we got out of breath and sometimes we had a stitch.

After we finished the beep test and everything we did this pe game. Also well its not exactly a game its like a sporty pe thing you can do more like stretches. We did a couple of stretches and that was it we went into the gym and the stretches. We did was leg stretches and foot stretches and a couple others stretches. After we finished doing the stretches we went into the gym and listen to teachers instructions on what to do.   

Fantastic Mr Fox

chapter 1

There are three farmers and three of them have there own farms. they are rich and they are also mean men and the richest too. their names were farmer Bunce and farmer Boggis and farmer Bean they are also defiantly 3 mean rich men. 

Farmer Boggis was a chicken farmer and he liked to have loads of chickens. farmer boggis ate heaps and this was because he ate heaps of boiled eggs at a time and farmer boggis would have it everyday he would have it for breakfast and for lunch and also for dinnertime and he is also the biggest

Farmer Bunce is like a duck farmer and he likes gooses and ducks. he is also the only short one and is the shortest out of the other 2 farmers and he is not evan taller than a swimming pool either. farmer bunce liked dough nuts and goose livers he would always put the food in a yuck way like mash it together or something

 Farmer Bean was like a turkey person he kept turkeys aswell. but its strange cause he never at apples or turkey or anything at all. but he did drink something and it was something disgusting it was .. gallons of yucky cider he made it aswell and he was the thinnest too

Art

First we drawn every single thing we are meant to draw onto the storyboard and there was only one
person drawing and that was Ella. Then Zoe did a little drawing as well and I did drawing too while
they were drawing and one of our people on our team was drawing the cartoons off the storyboard
and drawn onto the white board.

We learned and well actually I learned how to draw well and I drew a little bit and I also learned how to draw hard drawings like cartoons even though I didn't like it.

Doing mostly everything I guess but I enjoyed drawing and doing the storyboard most of the time we did art, so basically all I did I enjoyed. Because it was kind of fun and I liked it but I tried even though it was hard but it was very difficult and I tried everything and enjoyed every single thing I did even though I didn't want to do it.

Actually the drawing was the most difficult at times but I tried even though it was very frustrating and the drawing was very hard but it was kind of a little fun and half of everything was very difficult but kind of exciting well a little bit of it was.

well the the first day that we did cip was probably the first term and we did well we first went to sh and sitted on the mat and the teacher talked and everything and before we did and went to cip we did a survey like a cip survey like we had to pick one like kapahaka or singing or whatever else there is and we had to do the cip we had picked

on cip we did something else like we had to get into groups of 4/3 or Evan more and we had to walk everywhere around the school like around the field  and the courts and the playground  and everywhere else and we had a big white plastic bag to put our well the rubbish that we found and put the rubbish in the bag and we had to fill it all up and then when we were finish we had to go back to class

there was this other day we did cip and we had to make like a sculpture or something  to make with the things with the rubbish and we had to work with groups like 2/3 and it probably took us 2 days i think

on this different other day we did cip and we were talking about bullying and making posters about pink shirt day and we watched a video about 2 best friends wearing pink shirts and stuff and the teachers were talking about like not to bully others or each other because it not nice

on cip we had to pick well i cant remember but we had to pick what group we wanted to be in and we had to pick a partner and draw like log up a picture and draw it and we are drawing it for a colouring competition  and we draw for the kids that are gonna be colouring it in

learning story!!

In music we were learning about this really cool thing and it's called ASMR and we were listening this girl singing Billie Eilish and then we were watching this video of this lady eating this food called aloe vera witch is like a healthy plant, ill listen  to people's ideas.

We had to pick a singer and it could either be adele or other and we had to pick one famous celebrity and we had to write facts about them and we also watched a video about how they become famous how they become a celebrity how they become a singer, i am a curious learner so i asked a lot of questions while doing this.

We did slides about through the years and we had to like in each 12 slides we had to put a lot of facts and a song about it. also me and shalizeh was working very well with each other and we were listening to each other as well. I showed this by having my chromebook with me and by working on my chromebook.

We gotta get one piece of paper and then we got into groups of ⅘ and we had to write all kinds and types of music like pop and rap and r&b and rock n roll and reggae and classical music, by understanding other people's ideas.

Whenever i do music i use my chromebook in a safe way and by staying on the right websites.

what did you watch/why

we watched the video because its for our cip and to show kindness to others.we watched this video of a person trying to buy her Nan but the Nan couldn't afford the cake so this man was watching and he bought the cake for them so basically

when i was watching the video i noticed that there was kindness and he was being very kind and nice to the Nan and kids. so it showed a video of when the man was young this other man was being kind to him so when he was older he saw a lady struggling trying to buy a cake but she couldn't afford it.

There was a dark rainy cloud coming through with spooky stuff and old as graves under the ground and lighting coming through. then the most scary thing was that there was know way out it was just a cemetery. even if u walk as fast as and it's like when you run or walk there were holes in the ground and slowly slip through the muddy holes.

Then she was walking and didn't even know there was holes in the ground so she fell down the holes and down there was graves. When she fell she she then collapsed and then a couple minutes later she woke up and screamed so then she stopped then she looked and then a couple minutes zombies started coming out from the graves so what she did was she started running and looking for something that dangerous and she wacked the zomibies with it. Then she use the shuvle to climb up out of the hole and she runned as far away and she saw a home and she went in there and sleep.

How to play Ki O Rahi

1. you have to divide people into 2 teams
2. 1 team will be the none bibs
3. 2 teams will be the bib team
4. We will need cones

How to play…

Then after you've set up the field and that there's two teams called taniwha and Kioma. Then you can play
after you've done everything. Then the two teams well one of the teams will score by hitting then
tupu and the other will score by hitting poes and running the ki to the try line. Also the two teams get a
break every half hour.

trip to the Buddhist temple !

Yesterday on the 14th of May we went to the Buddhist temple. We went with Tz and there were also other classes coming to and they were ts and Sh. The first thing we did is we got on the bus and then the bus driver drove us to the Buddhist temple then next we got off the bus and each class had to get into 2 lines.

after that the next thing we did was sit down in this big space thing where there's a big screen and we did it
for like 10 minutes and was telling us about 3G4G . Bh went with then Tz and we went to the library first and
we weren't there for long. Next we did was then make this flower paper thing then when we were done we
called well we were allowed to put it in our hair or our wrist. We walked down the hallway looking at these
frame pictures of japan or something like that.

It was morning tea time and they gave us food and a drink so they  just gave us 2 cookies and water and
then after all that the last thing we had to do in the Buddhist temple was get in the area were sh and th and
sh and tz and bh went into this different room and it was big and we once we sited down we all got given
this bell that we can make noise with and then we all got to go home the end.

what sorts of things makes a good friend? they care for you and play with you and do nice things for you and say nice things.

Athletics day!

Yesterday on Thursday 7 of March we had an athletics day. We got to dress up in our house colours and wear all sorts of cool stuff. So on athletics day we had to do sports. On athletics day we had all kinds of different sport events like relays and long jump, high jump, discus, shot put and we can practice if we want. We could also put face paint on for our house colours too. the first event I went to was shot put and shot put was fun and all you have to do is put the ball by your neck and just throw it and my second event was high jump and high jump was very fun so what I did is just run and jump over the long stick thing. My 3 event is relays and relays was fun and alright. My 4 event is long jump and long jump was very fun and I liked it and then after all of those events we had to do our chant but we didn't do our chant cause there wasn't much time. So then we were all done and got to watch people to do the relays and we got to go home after all all of that.

aotearoa Community

Explain what community you have joined? I ave joined the aotearoa nz community because It was my choice to choose this community so I did.

Explain why your group is your passion? This is my passion because I really wanted to be in this group and its more comfortable too. I would like to help save some endangered animals.

Explain one idea your interested in? One idea I'm really interested in is raising money for is the endangered animals and give the money to department of conservation so they can buy traps to catch the pests.

Today with our reliever  I did do my work and I also tried my best and hardest to finish my work of commenting on these two other classes called rimu class and gilberthorpe class.


When we have guests in our class we should do the right thing and do what we are suppose to do when we are in class and do our work for our teachers or our relievers.


Next time I will do what is right and do what I'm suppose to do and work very hard to finish my work so my work can be finish early for my teacher to check my work when it is all done.

Dirty water expiriment

What is filtration?

Filtration is separating solids from liquids by adding a medium through which only the liquid can pass. 

Examples are:

Materials

1. Elastic band

2. Rocks

3. Pebbles

4. Cup

Cut the bottle in half

Step 2

Put the top half upside down inside the bottle

STEP 3

Add layers of filter paper then add your sand/pebbles

Get 1 cup of dirty water.

Pour dirty water into the upside down bottle.

Measurements

Well mr palmers wasn't that good. but he could try doing better next time when we do more science experiments.

1 what is a community? a community is a bunch of people who work together and some classes come together and share a bunch of stuff.


2 what groups do we have at our school? Music group, sports group, book group, kapa haka, pasifika group.

Expiriment

Goal: to make a chemical reaction

What you need: baking soda, vinegar, 2 x cups, tray, measuring cups


 we watched a video of mr palmers doing an science experiment with baking soda and vinegar and all other sorts of stuff and then we needed a piece of paper like a planning sheet to write down our goal and and what we need and we had to put our steps in order like in boxes.

So our goal is to make a chemical reaction   Then what we needed for our science expiriment is baking soda and vinegar and 2 x cups, tray, measuring cup. We also had to put then in order on paper and in boxes.

Then we had to grab a device and blog and like copy the the stuff on our paper onto our device and then publish it. Then what I saw in the video was mr palmer puting baking soda and then vinegar then       I think he mixed or something then it came up then out of the cup the it went down.

So what he poured in the first was baking soda then vinegar then he mixed then it exploded so then next we were all done the expiriment for today.

Our group made a dance skit and me and my group worked very good together and very well but we didn't get along but we tried to. We were successful because we worked together as a team and we did team work. So we made a dance skit that we had to show to the whole class. Then we had to finish it this week. The people that I'm working with were only a couple of people and they were Jessica, and hailey, and Jesse, Gerald.

We succeed a lot by working together as a team and it was team work. We had a piece of paper and write down a couple of things like  what were suppose to do in the dance skit and who is gonna dance and then after we're done were done we show our teacher and our class.
