when we have a reliever

Today with our reliever  I did do my work and I also tried my best and hardest to finish my work of commenting on these two other classes called rimu class and gilberthorpe class.


When we have guests in our class we should do the right thing and do what we are suppose to do when we are in class and do our work for our teachers or our relievers.


Next time I will do what is right and do what I'm suppose to do and work very hard to finish my work so my work can be finish early for my teacher to check my work when it is all done.

Dirty water expiriment

What is filtration?

Filtration is separating solids from liquids by adding a medium through which only the liquid can pass. 

Examples are:

1.  Teabag
2. Coffee plunger/coffee filter 
3.  Swimming pool
4. Kidney

Materials

1. Elastic band

2. Rocks

3. Pebbles

4. Cup

5. Scissors

6. Bottle

7. Funnel

8. Coffee filter

Process - ( use verbs or doing words in each step )

Step 1

Cut the bottle in half

Step 2

Put the top half upside down inside the bottle

STEP 3

Add layers of filter paper then add your sand/pebbles

STEP 4

Get 1 cup of dirty water.

STEP 5

Pour dirty water into the upside down bottle.

Measurements

Well mr palmers wasn't that good. but he could try doing better next time when we do more science experiments.

1 what is a community? a community is a bunch of people who work together and some classes come together and share a bunch of stuff.


2 what groups do we have at our school? Music group, sports group, book group, kapa haka, pasifika group.


3 who manages these groups at our school? The teachers and the prefects, the students.


4 if I have a problem who do I see? A teacher or teacher aid or any adult in the classroom or my friends or other people in the classroom that would help me.


5 what changes would I like to see at school? More activities and sport, mufti day, pick our own
classroom and pick our teacher that we get along with and more free time and finishing school early on school days.

Expiriment

Goal: to make a chemical reaction

What you need: baking soda, vinegar, 2 x cups, tray, measuring cups


 we watched a video of mr palmers doing an science experiment with baking soda and vinegar and all other sorts of stuff and then we needed a piece of paper like a planning sheet to write down our goal and and what we need and we had to put our steps in order like in boxes.

So our goal is to make a chemical reaction   Then what we needed for our science expiriment is baking soda and vinegar and 2 x cups, tray, measuring cup. We also had to put then in order on paper and in boxes.

Then we had to grab a device and blog and like copy the the stuff on our paper onto our device and then publish it. Then what I saw in the video was mr palmer puting baking soda and then vinegar then       I think he mixed or something then it came up then out of the cup the it went down.

So what he poured in the first was baking soda then vinegar then he mixed then it exploded so then next we were all done the expiriment for today.

Our group made a dance skit and me and my group worked very good together and very well but we didn't get along but we tried to. We were successful because we worked together as a team and we did team work. So we made a dance skit that we had to show to the whole class. Then we had to finish it this week. The people that I'm working with were only a couple of people and they were Jessica, and hailey, and Jesse, Gerald.

We succeed a lot by working together as a team and it was team work. We had a piece of paper and write down a couple of things like  what were suppose to do in the dance skit and who is gonna dance and then after we're done were done we show our teacher and our class.
