esol.

What was the best lesson and why? The essay lesson would be the best lesson for me , because i learnt so much during that lesson , i wrote more , and more and because of that ive gotten better at writing i guess , I was improving and it was very good for me.

What did you enjoy doing and why? writing a whole essay full of a lot of paragraphs , it was helping me more , i wasn't very good at like doing these kinda essays before so it showed & learnt me so much.

What was one task you were proud of and why? persuasive writing would be the one , it was good for me , i was getting better and better at it which changed me i guess , doing things differently you know , day by day it was making my writing better because before i wasn't good at all i would always write 2 sentences but now ive been writing more.

What is something you could do differently/better next term? do more than i did before , more listening to the teacher when talking and not focusing on my music with my earphones while the teacher is talking , maybe next term if i take the earphones out and listen carefully to her instructions it would be better.

the chosen one .

1. we had to make video clips of me and my group.

2. our movie clip is about jealousy.

3. because our movie clip is very similar compared to the merchant of Venice because of the jealousy and all the other things above that are similar to the movie .

4. one of the additional film techniques we used was close up shot and long shot and extreme close up shot.

5. the clips because i had to be in this and that and it took a while to finish the movie clip and the editing , i learned that there would always be jealousy.

6. it would be a whole different story there would not be jealousy in the story , i would not be a bad boy.

 one - Metallica

I can't remember anything

Can't tell if this is true or dream
Deep down inside I feel the scream
This terrible silence stops in me
Now that the war is through with me
I'm waking up, I cannot see
That there is not much left of me
Nothing is real but pain now
heres half of the lyrics

one is an anti - war song. This song is about a world war & about soldiers who's arms and legs got blown off by a landmine , also about the ones who were blind and couldnt move .

the Beatles .

In social studies me & my class had to pick a song of the beatles & so here it is ..

here comes the sun

Here comes the sun do, do, do
Here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun do, do, do
Here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun do, do, do
Here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly

significance of WW1 - The last post

The Last Post is a song that has been around for hundreds of years, its sound one of the most distinctive in existence. Citizens and members of militarises worldwide are able to recognise its somewhat haunting, poignant notes, played by a single bugler. It is a tune that bonds humanity together, slipping past the country, city, and religious lines that divide all. That familiar and recognisable tune carries the names, the faces, and the memories of all who have died in wars throughout history.

Although the Last Post has come to carry such mournful weight and meaning, it was not originally used in a memorial context. In fact, the Last Post was just a simple song in its very first years. First published and played in the 1790s, the Last Post was one of many bugle calls used by the British Army.

These calls were used to help soldiers keep track of time when living in encampments. Each sound of the bugle instructed British soldiers, with different “songs” or notes letting them know if it was time to wake for the day, time to enjoy a meal, time to partake in military exercises, or time to turn in for the night. Every day in camp was regulated and run according to the calls of the army’s bugler.

Typically, soldiers’ days began with buglers playing Reveille, the daily wake up call, and ended with the sounds of the Last Post. When played in camp, the Last Post signalled that the duty officers had completed their sentry-post inspection around the encampment’s perimeter. So, the Last Post earned its name simply because it was sounded to signal that the last of these posts had been inspected. For a number of decades, the end of such a security check was the only time during which the bugle call would be heard. It was simply the sound that let soldiers know their days were completed, and their location was secure .

last post - anzac day

parihaka .

The main messages of the lyrics is about parihaka of what happened years ago . The terrible things woman children , men went through , the British put them through so much . "you cant pull out the roots" the messages is referring to take me home . The song shows significance because people still talk about it , learn about it , of how it affects people everyday . There were lots of people in new Zealand affects especially the maori people . The people were effected by it for a long long time and they still are . The extent to what most people are effected by are the parihaka attack , it was so traumatizing for the parihaka people . Evan though this happened years ago it still effects the maori people , & others of what happened .

the spirituals was as communal songs sung in a religious gathering, performed in a call-response pattern reminiscent of West African traditional religions. African American spirituals , African-Americans would sing it for hope & their sorrows , while in their slavery .

Harriet Tubman was one of the most known as escaping slavery to become a leading abolitionist . she saved hundreds & thousands of slaves , the underground railroad was where Harriet Tubman led them to get them to freedom , and she never lost a "passenger .

- in wade in water .

 in the water

Wade in the water
Children wade, in the water
God's gonna trouble the water
Who's that young girl dressed in red
Wade in the water
Must be the children that Moses led
God's gonna trouble the water
- was a a song but it had messages for the African-Americans in slavery , so she could talk to the slaves & help them escape underground railroad

how are these events still significant today? because a lot of people are talking about it & they still are , one of the most known history .

But then I thought I saw something 2 meters away from me in the forest ... it was big and huge and enormous . It was a giants footprint , I thought I was daydreaming and being gulable so I rubbed my eyes and then i opened them again. Then I realised I was not dreaming or anything because it was very realistic . It was real but I didn't want it to be real....

Particle theory

Particle theory

1. particles make up everything
2. particles are always moving
3. particles are attracted to each other
hotter - faster
cooler - slower
- always space between particles

Diffusion

particles move from high concentration (where there is more)
to low concentration  (less particles)

Introduction : This week we are gonna learn well this week we are learning about particles theory

Aim :   well particles get more faster when you heat it up , and particles will move slower when you cool it down.hypothesis :  i think that
