reading term 3 week 9


  1. Rummaged means searching for something.
  2. Purse means a little small leather bag to put money in.
  3. Hauled means pulled out an old broom handle.
  4. Mysterious means difficulty or to hard to understand.
  5. Nectarine means a red and yellow fruit on a tree
  6. German Shepard means a dog
  7. Dogfish means a small blue colored shark with a very long-tail.

I learnt about there is a German Shepard behind the fence.  Also learnt they were going fishing for nectarines. And learnt about doing meaning of the words for reading. I also learnt about there's a dog barking. Also learnt that grandpa wanted a nectarine but the German shepherd was barking at them while they were grabbing the nectarine

Five main things that happen in this story.
  1. Grandpa took his grandson to the nectarine tree
  2. His grandson grabbed a nectarine
  3. There's a german shepherd
  4. They grave nectarines
  5. The grandpa was freezed after the dog was in front of him

  1. Let's see if the fish are biting.
  2. It's a big one reel it in.
  3. A Lot of snappy dogfish around today don't you think.
  4. Just one more fish look at that beauty
  5. Get me out before this dog eats me alive.
  
Nectarines have red and yellow skin and have a big brown seed inside of them in the middle. nectarines have a spicy zing to the taste.

Mrs pickle was very happy because they became friends so this is how it started. Grandpa and his grandson went over the fence to grave a nectarine then grandpa got the nectarine he saw the german shepherd and the german shepherd was standing right in front of him
